HeyGears G1X: UV printer that also prints full-colour 3D objects raises over $17 million

The HeyGears G1X prints on objects with UV ink and builds full-colour 3D objects from coloured resin. Shipping starts in December 2026 according to the campaign.

HeyGears is best known for resin printers for the dental sector. With the G1 series, the company is bringing out a machine that does two things: it prints onto existing objects with UV ink like a UV flatbed printer, and it builds complete full-colour 3D objects layer by layer from coloured UV resin. The Kickstarter campaign ran from 23 July to 11 September 2026 and, according to Makers101, raised $17,685,524 from 3,981 backers. Including late pledges, the total stood at $18,204,249 on 27 October.
