eufyMake E1: software 5.0 brings cheaper maintenance, jigs and the new Anker Make name

eufyMake is rolling out software 5.0 for its E1 UV printer. According to the eufyMake blog, the update arrives during the week after 22 October 2026. The biggest change for owners: automatic maintenance, which uses ink and cleaning fluid, can now be matched to how often you print.

Three maintenance modes

• Auto (default): moisturizing runs on a fixed schedule as before.
• Flexible: the printer asks whether you will print in the next 48 hours. If you say yes, the upcoming cycle is skipped. If you then do not print, the printer flushes the nozzles 48 hours after the last print and repeats this every 6 hours; after 72 hours, moisturizing resumes as normal. According to eufyMake, this lowers maintenance costs by 14.6 percent on average compared with Auto.
• Storage: after one last moisturizing cycle, routine maintenance pauses. To resume, tap “Inject Ink” and the previous mode returns.

On 27 October, eufyMake also published how much ink each maintenance step uses. The company is still evaluating a more economical initial fill, with no date yet.

Jigs for batches, also via 3D printer or laser

New in Studio is jig printing: you set once how many pieces sit on the bed and at what spacing, then reuse the layout for further batches. The matching jig can be printed as an outline on a board with the E1, or exported as STL for a 3D printer or SVG for a laser.

Other changes

• a guided five-step flow from substrate to print
• a substrate library, including scanned or custom substrates
• a level estimate for the cleaning cartridge (solution levels accurate to about 5 percent, according to the maker)
• bidirectional printing now also from the app
• from 5.0 onwards, each update includes a link to the previous version; 4.3 is already available

The software is also being renamed: the eufyMake App becomes the Anker Make App, and eufyMake Studio becomes Anker Make Studio. Accounts, devices and projects stay as they are.
