About NadinMacht News
Nadin
Hi, I'm Nadin, born in '94. My YouTube channel NadinMacht is about 3D printers, lasers, CNC, UV printers and other maker toys, and what I build with them for my hobbies. My husband Marcus and I live in the north of Germany and also run the Maker Wiki together.
I've always been curious: languages, programming, 3D design, sewing, as long as it's something new. When I see something and wonder “How does that work?” or “Can I do that myself?”, it's pretty certain to become a project at some point.
What are the NadinMacht News?
My motto: a nerd making creative tech (in German: Nerd macht Kreativ-Tech). This is where I collect news from two worlds that keep meeting in my life: maker technology and my hobbies. New devices, announcements, new releases, updates, tests and deals, always with sources. Every Wednesday, there is also the Maker News video on YouTube (in German). Data sheets, comparisons and the basics for the devices are in the Maker Wiki. The site started in German; the English stories are translations.
Which topics?
- Maker tech: 3D printing, lasers, UV printing, CNC and workshop, plotters and textiles (cutting plotters, heat presses, sublimation, DTF) and software such as slicers, LightBurn, firmware and apps.
- Hobby: tabletop and Warhammer, board games, building bricks and gaming.
- Maker meets hobby: everything where both come together, such as tabletop miniatures from a resin printer or laser cut inserts for board games.
- Industry: companies, trade fairs and the market.
How we work
- Sources: Every story lists where the information comes from, usually straight from the manufacturer.
- Our own words: We write stories ourselves and do not copy press releases.
- Images: We only use manufacturer images with permission; the credit is shown with the image.
- Prices: Prices and shop links come from the Maker Wiki and always carry a date. Prices change often; the price in the shop is what counts.
- No hidden buying recommendations: A story or a link is not a recommendation. If I recommend something, it says so explicitly.
- Affiliate links: Some links to shops are marked with *. If you buy through them, we receive a small commission. Your price stays the same. Legally, such links count as advertising, which is why we label them.
