Creality Pika: pocket 3D scanner for €719, rated 4 out of 5 by Tom’s Hardware
The Creality Pika weighs 260 g, scans with blue laser lines and infrared, and needs no markers in NIR mode. In stock in the German shop.
Alongside the ELEGOO M1 Ultra, there is a second new scanner from the 3D printing world that we had not covered yet: the Creality Pika. It is much smaller and cheaper.
What the Pika can do
- Weight: 260 g, with a screen on the device
- Scanning: blue laser lines and near-infrared structured light (NIR); in NIR mode, no marker dots are needed
- Batteries: two swappable 3,350 mAh batteries, so you can keep scanning while swapping
- Software: Creality Scan
Price
In Creality’s German shop, the Pika costs €719 and is in stock according to the shop (as of 8 Nov 2026). We are leaving the shop’s Black Friday discount aside here.
First review
Tom’s Hardware reviewed the Pika on 19 October and gives it 4 out of 5: lightweight and fairly easy to use. Praise goes to the low price, the small size, marker-free scanning in NIR mode, no trouble with small, shiny and black objects, and the improved calibration. Criticism: tracking in NIR mode is tricky.
