UniFormation S10 on Kickstarter: a resin printer that washes and dries by itself
The UniFormation S10 prints, washes and dries resin parts in one machine. $999 on Kickstarter, $1,299 later, with delivery expected from March 2027.
With resin printing, the print itself is only half the job. Afterwards, the resin-covered part has to come off the platform and go into the wash station, then dry and go under the UV lamp. The UniFormation S10 is meant to handle part of that itself. The manufacturer is now raising money for it on Kickstarter.
What the S10 does automatically
After printing, the build platform rotates so excess resin drips off. It then moves to the wash tank, which holds up to 9 litres of cleaning fluid, while a cover slides over the resin vat. Washing runs in two cycles: the platform dips in, moves from side to side and lets the fluid drain. Finally, a fan dries the part with warm air at 35 to 45 °C.
That does not finish the part. According to UniFormation, removing it, taking off the supports and post-curing are still done by hand. For post-curing, there is an optional curing module that clips onto the S10 and runs from its touchscreen.

Price and dates
According to UniFormation, the S10 costs $999 on Kickstarter, and the later retail price is set at $1,299. The website now advertises up to 28 % off for early backers. UniFormation lists the exact tiers on the Kickstarter page. Delivery is planned from March 2027, including to Europe. Euro prices: not stated by the manufacturer.
Crowdfunding is not a purchase
Backing a Kickstarter project is not buying a finished product. There is no delivery guarantee, dates can slip, and technology or features may still change before production. There are no independent tests yet. The main open questions are how thoroughly the automatic wash cleans complex parts and how much maintenance the moving parts need. How washing and curing work by hand is explained in the Maker Wiki.
