Fantasy Tiles: new tile-laying game by Bruno Cathala and Théo Rivière arrives in January
Asmodee announces Fantasy Tiles: place fantasy creatures in rows, collect gold, trigger abilities. For 2 to 4 players, in stores from 29 January 2027.
On 28 October 2026, Asmodee announced the tile-laying game Fantasy Tiles. It is designed by Bruno Cathala and Théo Rivière, with illustrations by Dan Gartman.
How it plays
Players place tiles showing fantasy creatures such as elves, dragons, goblins and merfolk in rows. Forming or extending a row earns gold, and matching tiles trigger abilities. Fantasy Tiles is designed for 2 to 4 players aged 10 and up, and according to the publisher a game takes about 30 minutes.
