The Duskbloods delayed: FromSoftware’s Switch 2 game now due in 2027

FromSoftware is moving The Duskbloods from 2026 to 2027. The reason is final work on rules and balance after the August network test.

The Duskbloods will not arrive this year. On 29 October 2026, FromSoftware announced on the game’s official X account that it will launch in 2027. It had previously been announced for 2026. FromSoftware’s website now also lists 2027 for the game.

Why the game is coming later

According to FromSoftware, development is in its final stage. The extra time will go into rules and balancing. The studio also wants to build on combat, strategic depth and player expression, the very points players tried out in the closed network test in August 2026. The studio apologised to everyone waiting for the game.

There is no more precise date than 2027.

What The Duskbloods is

The Duskbloods is a multiplayer game from FromSoftware in which players compete against each other and against computer-controlled enemies. It is exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2. Price: not stated by the manufacturer.
