Co Print Quadro: 3D printer with four independent toolheads launches on Kickstarter on 12 November
Four toolheads share one X axis and park sealed in a docking station. List price $899, from $649 on Kickstarter.
Co Print’s main product so far is the ChromaSet, a multicolour upgrade for existing printers. Now it has its own printer: the Quadro has four toolheads, each with its own motor, moving independently on the same X axis. Co Print calls this IQEX, “Independent Quad Extruder”. According to the reservation page, the Kickstarter campaign starts on 12 November 2026.
What the Quadro can do
- Toolheads: four, independent on one axis. While one toolhead returns to the dock, the next is already moving.
- QDock station: seals the nozzles of parked toolheads so no filament oozes out
- Build volume: 300 x 300 x 300 mm
- Speed: up to 600 mm/s, acceleration 10,000 mm/s²
- Nozzle: up to 300 °C
- Camera: 1080p
- Machine: 860 x 580 x 337 mm, 18 kg
Because each colour has its own toolhead, colour changes produce much less purge waste. Co Print claims up to 90% less filament waste and up to 70% faster multicolour printing, without saying exactly what it compares against.
Price
The list price is $899, and on Kickstarter it is due to start at $649. Anyone who reserves in advance for $20 gets $75 back after the campaign and $25 credit in the Co Print store. Co Print has not yet given a euro price or a delivery date.
